June was a busy one, as Pride Month added a bit of excitement to my usual freelance load. I got to do a piece on LGBTQ poetry books and a certain yuri manga series, in addition to other pop culture pieces.

10 LGBTQ Poetry Books To Read During Pride Month And Beyond– Prior to June, I happen to come across quite a few poetry books by LGBTQ poets and that resulted in this piece. I was especially happy to feature a couple of friends and colleagues in it.

Silk Goes West in Silk #1– I’ve been a fan of Marvel Comics’ Korean American Spider-Hero Silk for a couple of years now. It made me happy to see Cindy Moon return in yet another solo series, which seems to have her most creative adventure to date.
